Deanne & Rob: Smuggler's Cove

Skagway is a tourism town. As such, we see a handful of cruise ship weddings every summer. Brides and grooms step off of their Norwegian or Carnival ship, some dressed in traditional garb, and others in jeans and a button-down shirt. Either way, the weddings are quick and generally small, which is a breath of fresh air after shooting so many huge wedding parties.
Deanne and Rob were a joy to work with - completely laid back and full of love for one another. We ventured to a secret spot near Smuggler's Cove, and hiked up to a secluded vista on top of a mountain, with a beautiful view of the bay below. The ceremony lasted only a few minutes and was followed by the cutting of the cake, the popping of champagne and the clicking of my camera as we wandered around the forest taking photos.
I am so happy that I was able to be a part of this beautiful couple's most wonderful day. Enjoy the photos!
