Downtown with the Myers

Skagway is a town of history. With storefronts dating back to 1898, Klondike Gold Rush trains and railroad tracks that go for miles, it is the perfect backdrop for family photos. So when I had the chance to photograph the Myers family, I knew I would be capturing some beautiful memories.
Paul and Abby have created a beautiful family. Liza, Ava and Millie matched in beautiful blue dresses, while brother Silas complimented them in perfect Alaskan plaid. All family members wore Extra Tuffs, a Skagway staple, and the loveable Spartan accompanied us throughout town.
It was a very cold November morning, but we were very fortunate to escape the North Wind that was blowing trashcans down alleys just days before.
All in all, we had a beautiful morning, made beautiful photos, and the kids were happy because they got hot cocoa and bagels afterward. So I would say it was a pretty successful day.
